IRCC Curriculum Transfer to FIU

Florida International University (FIU) Electrical Engineering Curriculum for Indian River Community College (IRCC). This curriculum applies to students entering IRCC for a future transfer to FIU, and is divided into three sections: Lower Division Non-Technical and Lower Division Technical from IRCC, and an Upper Division Program from FIU.

* A minimum grade of C is required in all Math, Science, and writing courses.

** Whichever was not completed at the Community College.

NOTE: In addition to the above listed courses, students must complete the following as deficiencies for their degree:

  1. Foreign language requirement (3 - 10 credits or 2 years in high school).
  2. Engineering Drawing or CAD (unless previously taken in high school).
  3. CLAST exam or proper exemptions.
  4. A minimum grade of C- in all EEL courses.
  5. A minimum GPA of 2.0 in all EEL courses.
  6. A minimum overall GPA of 2.0.
  7. A minimum of 128 credits must be completed.
  8. All other requirements as listed in the course catalog for the year that the student entered his/her program.
