IRCC Curriculum Transfer to FIU

Florida International University (FIU) Industrial Engineering Curriculum for Indian River Community College (IRCC). This curriculum applies to students entering IRCC for a future transfer to FIU, and is divided into three sections: Lower Division Non-Technical and Lower Division Technical from IRCC, and an Upper Division Program from FIU.

* A minimum grade of C is required in all Math, Science, and writing courses.

** MAC 2312 and PHY2049 must be completed before taking Dynamics. If the pre/corequisites are not met, the course will not be accepted and the student will have to repeat the course!

***Must have a majority content of ProE. If not, the student must take EGN 3123 at FIU.

**** Whichever was not completed at the Community College.

NOTE: In addition to the above listed courses, students must complete the following as deficiencies for their degree:

  1. Foreign language requirement (3 - 10 credits or 2 years in high school).
  2. CLAST exam or proper exemptions.
  3. A minimum overall GPA of 2.0.
  4. A minimum of 128 credits must be completed.
  5. All other requirements as listed in the course catalog for the year that the student entered his/her program.
