PBCC Curriculum Transfer to FIU

Florida International University (FIU) Biomedical Engineering Curriculum for Palm Beach Community College (PBCC). This curriculum applies to students entering PBCC for a future transfer to FIU, and is divided into three sections: Lower Division Non-Technical, and Lower Division Technical from PBCC, and an Upper Division Program from FIU.

NOTE: In addition to the above listed courses, students must complete the following as deficiencies for their degree:

  1. Foreign language requirement (3 - 10 credits or 2 years in high school).
  2. Engineering Drawing or CAD (unless previously taken in high school).
  3. CLAST exam or proper exemptions.
  4. A minimum major GPA of 2.0 in all engineering courses.
  5. A minimum overall GPA of 2.0.
  6. A minimum of 128 credits must be completed.
  7. All other requirements as listed in the course catalog for the year that the student entered his/her program.
